Fundraising

The Lane Cove Fun Run is organised by volunteers on behalf of The Lane Cove Public School P&C. By entering the run you will be participating in a great community event as well as supporting a local public school.
Race fees cover the cost of extensive road closures, RMS safety marshals, St John’s Ambulance, official race timing and bibs.
Any remaining proceeds will go towards providing extra teachers and learning support staff at Lane Cove Public School.
10% of Net Proceeds Will be Donated To Charity
There is also the opportunity to donate to these charities during the registration process.
In 2022 the Lane Cove Fun Run is very proud to support charities who provide support and services to the local Lane Cove community.

The Pyjama Foundation offers a learning-based mentoring program free to children in foster care. Volunteer “Pyjama Angels” are screened, trained and matched with a child they visit each week to read books aloud, play educational games and other learning-based activities. The program improves learning and life outcomes, literacy, numeracy skills and community networks. Funds received will help recruit and train new Pyjama Angels.
